Yogananda’s guru, Swami Sri Yukteswar, appeared to Yogananda in a vision while he was in Bombay, India. This was later related in the Autobiography of a Yogi chapter titled “The Resurrection of Sri Yukteswar.”
Yogananda conducted open air services at the Cleveland Yogoda Picnic held at Lakewood Park in Cleveland, Ohio.
