Daily meditations for July by Swami Yogananda published in the East West Magazine: “Wherever I go, I will burn the roots of depression from the minds of people with the thoughts of our Heavenly Father’s Infinite Abundance.”

Yogananda gave a lecture at a gathering in Los Angeles, California.

Yogananda wrote to his disciple, Rajarshi Janakananda, from Bombay, India. The letter included the statement, “Never have I realized more than now that the one purpose of all life is to seek God until one finds Him.”

Yogananda lectured on “Reincarnation” at the Assembly Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Yogananda lectured on the subject “Making Life Worthwhile” at a meeting of The Men’s Club of Philadelphia.

Yogananda was on a two-week series of lectures and classes during his first visit to Fresno, California.

Yogananda visited Niagara Falls in New York.

Yogananda gave a series of lectures from April 2–May 10 at the Lu Lu Temple in Philadelphia. Approximately 2000 people attended each night.

By popular demand, he returned to give four more lectures from May 20–23, as well as classes at the City Club.
