Only rarely does a sage of Paramhansa Yogananda’s stature write a firsthand account of his life experiences. Followers of many religious traditions have come to recognize Autobiography of a Yogi as a masterpiece of spiritual literature. Yet, for all its depth, it is full of gentle humor, lively stories, and practical common sense. This is a verbatim reprinting of the original edition, now also including previously unreleased bonus materials.
Paramhansa Yogananda’s classic Autobiography of a Yogi was more about the saints Yogananda met than about himself, in spite of the fact that Yogananda was much greater than many he described.
Now, one of Yogananda’s close and direct disciples tells the untold story of this great spiritual master and world teacher: his teenage miracles, his challenges in coming to America, his national lecture campaigns, his struggles to fulfill his world-changing mission amid incomprehension and painful betrayals, and his ultimate triumphant achievement.
The New Path tells the story of a young man’s spiritual quest, his discovery of Autobiography of a Yogi, and his acceptance as a disciple by Paramhansa Yogananda. Through hundreds of stories of life with Yogananda and through Swami Kriyananda’s invaluable insights, you’ll discover the inner path that leads to soul-freedom and lasting happiness.
Great teachers work through their students, and Paramhansa Yogananda was no exception. Swami Kriyananda writes in the introduction to the present volume, “After I’d been with him a year and a half, he began urging me to write down the things he was saying during informal conversations.” The Essence of Self-Realization, nearly 300 sayings rich with spiritual wisdom, is the fruit of that labor of love. It offers an explanation of life’s true purpose, and of the way to achieve that purpose.
Paramhansa Yogananda explains virtually everything needed to lead a happier, more fulfilling life.
Many people share theories on reincarnation, karma, or what happens at death. Paramhansa Yogananda writes from his own true knowledge and experience.
In this book Paramhansa Yogananda shares fresh inspiration and practical guidance on having harmonious relationships.
Paramhansa Yogananda shares how we can achieve the highest success of material & spiritual efficiency.

i want learn Kriya yoga. where can i find in Haridwar, Uttarahkand.
Ananda doesn’t have a center in Haridwar yet. Very soon we shall be offering online courses that will teach the path to Kriya yoga. If that is something interests you, I encourage to checkout anandaindiaonline.org.
If it doesn’t work out, there are some other places in Rishikesh, such as Kriya Yoga ashram, that might be teaching Kriya Yoga as well. But I am not very familiar with that.
