Yogananda wrote to his disciple Dr. Lewis, from Calcutta, India, regarding the passing of his Guru Sri Yukteswar: “Ever since Master went — I have not felt same. Only the other day I saw him resurrected in a strange new way — and I was very happy. He answered all my questions… It surpasses description.” That experience was later recounted by Yogananda in his Autobiography of a Yogi, in the chapter, “Resurrection of Sri Yukteswar.”
